Guidelines
Check - In:
In order to make your camping trip more
enjoyable we are happy to assist you in finding a campsite and
escort you to the site. If we happen to be unavailable you can
select an unreserved campsite and we will come by when we return, or
you can use the self registration station located at the
Bathhouse. We do accept reservations and will try to accommodate
your request for a particular campsite. We gladly welcome tent
campers!
Please do not save campsites for other guests unless payment has
been made. Campsites are first come first serve unless a
reservation has been made.
Camping fees include up to 4 people at each site.
Please be careful when parking your rig. It is your responsibility
to insure that you avoid any natural objects or site utilities.
Check out is 2 p.m. If you need to leave a little later please
check with us.
General Camping Rules:
Quiet
time is from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Please be considerate of your
neighbors.
No loud
music, profanity or obscenities will be tolerated.
Illegal
activity will not be tolerated.
No off road
vehicles are allowed in the campground (on a trailer and not driven
is permitted). Golf carts, four wheelers etc. are considered off
road vehicles.
No washing
of vehicles or boats permitted.
Please do
not block the road or park off the gravel in the campsites. Extra
parking is available at the Bathhouse.
No
woodcutting on park or Corps of Engineer's land is permitted.
Please no nails, spikes etc. in trees.
Fires are
permitted if contained in the ground level fire rings. At times
conditions may prohibit fires. Please do not move fire rings at
campsites. They are located away from underground utilities.
Please no
smoking in the Bath House or laundry. Please do not dispose of
cigarette butts by throwing them on the ground.
No
washing/drying of rugs, sleeping bags or similar items in the
laundry. Please no clothes lines.
Please use
caution when entering the Bath House as at times the tiles might be
wet and slippery.
Shooting of
fireworks or the discharge of firearms is prohibited.
Gray and
black water must be disposed of via hookup or dump station. Dumping
of gray or black water on the ground is prohibited.
Children are
the responsibility of the parents or the adults with them and are
financially responsible for any damage. Please do not leave your
children unattended.
Destruction
of property will not be tolerated and violators will be prosecuted.
Please lock
your vehicles and RV's when leaving the campground.
No
construction of sheds, decks, stairs, gardens or flowerbeds without
written permission. Potted plants are permitted.
Normal
campground items maybe stored outside such as chairs, grills,
bicycles etc. Please do not store other items outside your rig.
No fish or
fish entrails in garbage cans or dumpster. Please ask where to
dispose of!
PETS:
Pets are
welcome at Rayburn RV Hideout.
Please keep
your pet on a leash and clean up after your pet.
Please do
not leave your pet unattended.
Pets should
not distract from the enjoyment of other guests.
Pets that
are aggressive will be considered a danger to our other guests and
will not be tolerated for their safety.
No pets in
the Bath House or laundry.
Please do
not kennel or tie your pets outside at night.
Other Information:
Remember we are in a natural forest
setting complete with all the animals, insects and reptiles that
were here before us. Please use caution in walking the forest as
there are many natural hazards on the Corps of Engineer's land.
This is a private owned campground. We reserve the right to evict
without prior notice anyone who is in violation of our guidelines
without refund. We are not responsible for accidents, injury or
loss of property of any kind.
