We use this page for major events or holidays to show if we have any available sites for camping. We do not use this page for every weekend or weekday. We update this site as often as needed, however the availability of a campsite can change between updates. The date of the last update is noted at the top of the page. You can check this page to see if the availability of a site has changed due to a cancellation.
We do try to honor your request for a particular site. Some of our sites are better suited for a trailer rather than a motorhome, and some are better suited for tent camping than others. We will be happy to advise you of which sites are available and which site would work best for your camping trip. We seldom adjust your site after a reservation, however we may adjust your site if for some reason the site you requested for some unforeseen reason is unavailable, or if in the event a site you preferred first should come open. If we do make an adjustment, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Each of our campsites comes equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table. You may move the picnic table to suit your needs on arrival, but we ask that you do not move any fire rings as we have placed them away from underground utilities. None of our campsites has a view of Lake Sam Rayburn, but you can walk to the lake from the park, and the park adjoins Corps of Engineer land.
Some of our sites may not be available for multiple events or holidays. We do rent sites on a long term month to month basis and that particular site might be rented on a long term basis. If you are interested in renting on a monthly basis, please let us know and we can advise you if we have any openings and if we don't, we would be happy to put your name on our waiting list.
