We currently do not have any extended stay sites open.
We are happy to offer long term sites for guests who want to stay an extended period of time or leave their RV at the park as a “vacation home”. We normally have a waiting list for extended stay sites and we are happy to put you on our list and will let you know when we have a vacancy.
As a extended stay guest you are free to use your RV as often as you like. You cannot sub-rent your RV. We do live on the premise so we are able to monitor your RV while you are away. A deposit may be required to hold your extended stay site until you arrive.
Rate information can be found on our RATE page. We do not discount our rates (other for a cash/check payment) and we do not offer a yearly rate. A Site Service Agreement is required for extended stay sites and are considered a Host/Guest Arrangement.
A few questions that are often asked about extended stay sites:
Can I stay in my unit for an extended stay? Yes.
Are their guests who stay in the park as extended stay guests? Yes, we have a mix of guests, some are here for an extended time, some are seasonal, some are here on week days, some on weekends.
Can I build a deck or cover over my RV? As a RV park our guests are transient in nature and we provide a site and service (ie power, water, sewer). We do allow a deck with restrictions. It must be portable (not concreted or posts sunk in the ground) and easily movable. It must be located on the entry side of your unit. You cannot put a roof over it (your awning on your unit can cover it). You cannot build a cover over your unit.
Can I have a storage shed? No. Sheds or similar storage buildings are not allowed in the park.
Can I have family and friends visit? Yes. Please let us know in advance when they are going to visit so we can be aware of different vehicles in the park. You are the responsible party for any guest/visitor you have. There maybe an extra person charge for friends or family visiting - please check with us. You cannot use your RV as a rental property.
Can I have a golf cart, four wheeler or similar vehicle to use in the park? No. Not only does it cause us extra work in maintaining the gravel roads as well as repairing other damage plus we don’t want to spend the time having to police the use of such vehicles. And besides, the majority of our guests don’t want to hear it cruising around.
Do you have a yearly rate? No. Our policy is that any rate is due and payable in advance and unfortunately we do not give a refund for any unused portion of a rate. We recognize that a RV’er is transient in nature.
Why do you have a waiting list? We believe we have one of the nicest and reasonably priced parks on the lake. We recognize when a new guests wants to visit or place their RV at the lake we might not have room and we add the guest to our waiting list. When an opening occurs we use our waiting list to offer the site available to the guests who have left their name and phone number/email. We realize that plans can change between when a person is place on our waiting list and an opening occurs and the site is no longer needed. In that case we move onto the next person. If we don’t have any names on our waiting list we will post the site open on our website.
